Vaillancourt pieces are cast using chalkware in either antique chocolate or ice cream molds, that were primarily made in Europe between 1850 -1950.
Once the pieces are cast, they are placed in a heated room to be air dried. This process can take 4 days to 3 months depending on the size.
Then all the pieces are whitened and given a base coat, which is a 2-week process. It takes 5-7 days for one piece to be detailed and painted, and 1-2 days for aging.
The pieces are then ready to be adorned with glitter and beading.
A Vaillancourt piece will be in production for 3-weeks and will be handled by 11 artisans.
Lastly, the pieces are signed and dated.

Returns
The inventory is always changing, and is not completely managed by us because of the involvement of many parties including the factory and our warehouse. So the actual stock may fluctuate at any moment. It is possible that you will not receive your purchase after it's been placed.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. If 30 days have passed since you purchased your item, we cannot give you a refund or exchange.
Your item must be in its original packaging and in good condition. It must also not be used. It must also still be in the original package.
